Hubbub trialled small electricals collection at two community fridge locations in Wolverton and Albrighton, making it simple for residents to donate items. They collected 729 electricals with 522 rehomed and 189 recycled. The project built strong local networks, boosted community engagement, and increased awareness of reuse.
Both fridges plan to continue the scheme. Wolverton has secured additional local funding to cover storage and staffing, while Albrighton is self-sustaining thanks to trained volunteers and equipment now in place.
